Breaking Generational Cycles: The Joshua Generation of Moms Is Rising
There is a generation of moms who yearn to be free, and among them are the ones who will lead others to be free. These are the Joshua Generation of Moms who are breaking generational cycles and curses.
Mama, is this you?
She grieves for her people, she fights for the destiny of her children, and she cleanses the way of her ancestors.
She is the one willing to go forward into unknown places, at first not always fearless, but faithful.
She resembles Moses, like Harriet, willing to go back again and again, trusting God never to lose a soul or allow one to be enslaved again.
She goes on to lead her people out of years of cycles of bondage, addiction, lust, fatherlessness, shame, inequity, racism, fear, poverty, abuse, anger, oppression, anxiety, pride, suicide, rejection, and every anguish of her people.
These are mothers who are willing to take every direction from God, THE GOD WHO SAW EVERY CRY AND CAPTURED EVERY TEAR, the God who never turned His face, even when she thought so.
She knows there is only ONE WAY to break generational cycles, and it was broken on the cross when Jesus said, “It is finished.”
She’s now confident because her ransom has been paid, and now freedom is her RIGHT. She goes back with authority to her own places of bondage and looks every Pharaoh spirit in the eye and says, “IN THE NAME OF JESUS, LET MY PEOPLE GO!”
These are the mothers of the Joshua Generation. Bringing freedom, deliverance, and walking with their people INTO the Promised Land. Promises of freedom, peace, liberty, destiny, legacy, joy, beauty, and love.
Mama, if you are a daughter of God, I call out the Moses in you, I call out the Joshua in you. I call you strong, I call you courageous. In the name of Jesus — RISE UP. GET FREE, and take your people with you. Is this you? Are you that one? Say so! LET MY PEOPLE GO!
