#AD I’m the type of girl who loves fancy and aff #AD I’m the type of girl who loves fancy and affordable all at the same time. When I was a little girl my grandma raised me to appreciate nice things, but to be responsible.

That’s why we would frequent our neighborhood @BigLots to see what we could find. Now that I’m grown, I still have the same values; fancy, responsible, and fun. So of course Big Lots was a no-brainer for my patio refresh.

With the summer gearing up, I won’t be caught hot and exhausted I’ll be relaxing around one of my many cool #BigLotsFinds

There is a generation of moms who yearn to be free There is a generation of moms who yearn to be free, and among them are the ones who will lead others to be free. These are the Joshua Generation of Moms. Mama, is this you?

She grieves for her people, she fights for the destiny of her children, and cleanses the way of her ancestors.

She is the one willing to go forward into unknown places, at first not always fearless, but faithful.

She resembles Moses, like Harriet, willing to go back again and again and bet on to God never lose a soul, or to be enslaved again.

She goes on to lead her people from years of cycles of bondage, addiction, lust, fatherlessness, shame, inequity, racism, fear, poverty, abuse, anger, oppression, anxiety, pride, suicide, rejection, and of every anguish of her people.

These are mothers who are willing to take every direction from God, THE GOD WHO SAW EVERY CRY AND CAPTURED EVERY TEAR, the God that never turned His face, even when she thought so.

She knows there is only ONE WAY to break generational cycles, and it was broken on the cross when Jesus said “It is finished.” She’s now confident because her ransom has been paid, and now freedom is her RIGHT.

She goes back with authority to her own places of bondage and looks at every Pharaoh spirit in the eye and says,

“IN THE NAME of Jesus LET MY PEOPLE GO!”

These are the mothers of the Joshua Generation. Bringing freedom, deliverance, and walking with her people INTO the Promised Land. Promises of freedom, peace, liberty, destiny, legacy, joy, beauty, and love.

Mama, if you are a daughter of God, I call out the Moses in you, I call out Joshua in you.

I call you strong, I call you courageous. In the name of Jesus RISE UP. GET FREE, and take your people with you.

Is this you? Are you that one? Say so!

______

This is the mission of Belove Mama, to walk with you into the Promised Land.

Come with me, and let’s build and rebuild your Godly legacy.
♥️When I was 8 years old my grandma told me wi ♥️When I was 8 years old my grandma told me with conviction in her voice, “Kierra, you are going to break the generational curse of broken marriages in our family, and I’m praying for your husband even now.” I didn’t understand all that the assignment entailed, but I knew at some point I’d have to stand up and fight for change.

When Paul and I got married, I thought that the work was accomplished, but it was only the beginning. We fought against each other for years, we were living in the generational curse that I was supposed to break. But then, we picked up or crosses, and our swords , and fought together.

Now, with victorious tears in our eyes, I have come to tell you what my grandma told me…
🗣“Mama you are a generational curse breaker, and you will break generational curses of all sorts in your family.”

I will cry loud for this. I am sounding the sirens 🚨 because its time for you to know that help is here. It’s not because of me, it is because God loves you so much that He sent His only son Jesus to die as a sacrifice in your place. Jesus broke every curse for you - and only through Him are we truly free.

Because you are known and loved by God. ♥ Because you are known and loved by God. ♥
Sunday morning at 5am, I knew that the long night Sunday morning at 5am, I knew that the long night was gonna be extended to a long morning. David’s breathing was quick and labored - he needed helped. We were out of town, so I GPS'd the nearest hospital and wheeled David in a wagon through the hotel lobby. (He is well now.)

When we got to the hospital I saw the concern on the nurse’s face as she said, “He’s retracting.” I tried to explain what happened she looked at me at said,
“Good job mom.” She eased my insecurity, and as I watched her hurry around, I took a sigh of relief.

A little after the 7am shift change, a bright-eyed nurse came into the room as I was dozing off, and offered David some orange juice.

When she brought it back, I had dozed off again so I inquired, “Where can I find a cup of coffee?” She told me, and I took note and prepared to voyage through the hospital for a cup of awakeness.

Moments later, I lifted my head up and there she was.
Our nurse, standing, holding a cup of coffee in one hand, and sugar and cream in the other. It was as if she said, “I see you Mom”.

Nurses have a way of meeting needs, both big and small as if they are all the same.

Then I remembered the names of nurses who cared for me and our children over the years:

Olga - Who told me how triumphant I was after having my first baby.
Amber - Who helped deliver two of our babies, and the second on her own with no doctor.
Peggy- Who brought sunshine to our room after having Joey.

My homebirth midwives:
Kim - Who educated and validated me.
Nancy - Who empowered me with her wisdom.

Kathy, our Nurse Practitioner - Who’s been there since my first week of motherhood, helping us to raise and care for the boys, and who returns the power to us as parents.

And there's the boys Nana, Reva, a retired nurse, who isn't phased by the smell of poop, or by throw-up in the middle of the night. She loves our boys like her own.

All of our nurses throughout our journey have been like a warmth of a cup of coffee soothing a tired throat. And for that, we will never have enough thank yous- but I’ll try. From the bottom of my heart, this mom says - THANK YOU.. For all the “Good job moms”. This world is better because of you.♥️
Every time it rains in the evening while the sun i Every time it rains in the evening while the sun is out, we run into the van to hunt for a rainbow for Noah. If you’re ever around 🌈Noah you’ll quickly find out how much he loves rainbows. It’s one of those God whispers.

In the Bible, in Genesis after the flood, God sent the very first rainbow to Noah as a sign of His covenant promise. We didn’t tell our Noah to like rainbows, he just does, so I know God lovingly and intentionally placed that in him. Our Noah even took his rainbow puppy along for our rainbow hunt.

When I see rainbows arching the sky I’m forever reminded that God is faithful to keep His promises. The rainbows of yesterday are just the same as the rainbows of today - beautiful and majestic. Mama, if God says something in His word the answer is YES and Amen. So pray those promises- and pray those blessings!

Then pray my strength to get this child to to calm down because the rainbow is gone😩😩😭🥹😂👦🏾🌈

When was your most memorable rainbow?
